Jackson, Tenn. – In partnership with Community Foundation of West Tennessee, Jackson Bowling and Skating Family Fun Center is donating $30,000 to five local nonprofits in celebration of its 30th anniversary in business.
Each organization will receive $6,000 to support its mission and work across the community. The selected nonprofits receiving awards are:
· Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse
· The Jackson Symphony
· Regional Inter-Faith Association (RIFA)
· The STAR Center
· Wo/Men’s Rape and Resource Assistance Program (WRAP)
"Giving back to the community who has embraced my family and our business is the perfect way for me to celebrate this milestone," said Young Kim, Founder and CEO of Jackson Bowling Center. "I am proud to partner with the Community Foundation for my charitable giving. They have a proven track record and make it convenient for me to make donations and distributions from my donor advised fund.”
The Community Foundation manages more than 30 donor advised funds, assisting donors across the country in supporting critical community initiatives.

Jackson Bowling and Skating Family Fun Center, located in Jackson, Tennessee, has been a cornerstone for family entertainment in the community for 30 years. Featuring state-of-the-art facilities, including 32 bowling lanes, four mini-bowling lanes, a virtual flight and rollercoaster simulator, an XD DarkRide Interactive Movie Theater, mini-golf, go-karts, laser tag, and skating, the center specializes in hosting corporate events, family gatherings, birthday parties, and large group functions.
