100 Women Who Care: West Tennessee awarded $17,000 in grants to local nonprofits at an awards luncheon on March 7, 2025. The event brought together members to network, hear from nonprofit finalists, and vote for the nonprofits to be funded.
“100 Women Who Care is a powerful testament to the impact women can have when they come together. The funds raised directly support local nonprofits in our community,” said Beth Koffman, Chief Operating Officer for Community Foundation of West Tennessee. “We're deeply grateful for the generosity and commitment of the women in our region.”
100 Women Who Care accepted proposals from 501 (c)(3) organizations and funds of the Community Foundation in January, receiving 29 applications for funding. A committee of members reviewed and scored proposals to narrow down the nonprofits to three finalists in each category: small and large.
The nonprofit finalists selected in each category were:
Small:
All Saints Immigration Services
CASA of Henderson County
Henderson County Homeless Coalition
Large:
Regional Inter-Faith Association (RIFA)
West Tennessee Legal Services
YMCA of Memphis and the Mid-South
“The diversity and strength of the proposals we received for this year's luncheon highlighted the dedication of nonprofits in our community,” said Haley Fortune, Community Impact Manager for the Community Foundation. “We were excited to see our finalists present to members and rally for their votes to receive a grant award.”
During the luncheon, each organization pitched their mission and program to members. After all groups presented, 100 Women Who Care donors voted to determine the grant winners in both the small and large categories.
The winner in the small category was All Saints Immigration Services. They received $6,000 to support low-cost legal representation and advice to immigrant neighbors in West Tennessee. RIFA received a $11,000 grant to support their Bus Stop Cafe, which provides free meals to children under age 18 when school is not in session.

A vital piece of our mission at the Community Foundation of West Tennessee is the annual funds we provide to assist individuals in need. In 2023, a grant from our organization helped pay the remaining balance for Caleb Beebe's service dog, Brody.
