100 Women Who Care: West Tennessee is an initiative focused on uniting women to use the power of collective giving and make an impact in our community. Whether you are a seasoned donor or new to charitable giving, this group offers a giving option for you and creates unique opportunities to network, volunteer, and learn alongside women and nonprofits across the region.

Congratulations to our 2025 Award Winners

100 Women Who Care: West Tennessee awarded $17,000 in grants to local nonprofits at an awards luncheon on March 7, 2025. The event brought together members to network, hear from nonprofit finalists, and vote for the nonprofits to be funded. Read the full story on our website.

RIFA received a $11,000 grant to support their Bus Stop Cafe, which provides free meals to children under age 18 when school is not in session.

All Saints Immigration Services received $6,000 to support low-cost legal representation and advice to immigrant neighbors in West Tennessee.

Learn about our Nonprofit Finalists from the 2025 Awards Luncheon

The following organizations presented to our members about their organization and program at our annual awards luncheon on March 7, 2025.

Our nonprofit finalists were divided into two categories: small and large. The category an organization was placed into was determined by their operating budget as provided by the applicants. Groups with less than $250,000 in operating revenue were placed into the small category. Groups with an operating revenue greater than $250,000 were placed into the large category.

Small Organizations:

All Saints Immigration Services (ASIS) provides low-cost legal representation and advice to our immigrant neighbors in West Tennessee. Their funding request is to cover the cost of their most vulnerable immigrant clients who are unable to pay for their legal representation in their immigration process. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) of Henderson County focuses solely on the best interest of abused and neglected children, giving them a voice to aspire for a better, brighter future through their passionate
volunteers. Their funding request is to recruit and train a team of volunteer advocates, allowing them to increase their number of children served. Learn more at https://www.casahctn.org/.

Henderson County Homeless Coalition works to address increasing numbers of homeless persons in the Henderson County community. Their request is for funding to assist ongoing operations, which directly assists women & children in Henderson County. Learn more on their Facebook.

Large Organizations:

Regional Inter-Faith Association (RIFA) is leading and engaging the community in the fight against hunger. Their mission is to reach out with the love of Christ to help people in need by providing physical and spiritual nourishment. Their funding request is for RIFA’s Bus Stop Cafe, which provides free meals to children under age 18 when school is not in session. Learn more at https://www.rifajackson.org/.

West Tennessee Legal Services a non-profit law firm that began in 1979 to provide free civil legal assistance to vulnerable individuals who cannot afford legal help. Their funding request is to assist women who are victims of domestic violence with Orders of Protection and divorces with domestic violence or child abuse throughout their service area. YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South puts principles into practice through programs focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Their funding request is to support children with disabilities and their families enrolled in the YMCA Early Learning Center in Jackson to provide higher quality care for improved educational outcomes. Donations are payable in installments or as a one-time gift. You may donate online or make checks payable to Community Foundation c/o 100 Women, 74 Directors Row Jackson, TN 38305.

Your level of giving determines the number of votes you receive:

  • Member: Join as a member by donating $100 annually and receive 1 vote.
  • Friend: Be a Friend by donating $250 annually and receive 2 votes.
  • Advocate: Become an Advocate by donating $500 annually and receive 3 votes.
  • Champion: Be a Champion by donate $1,000 annually and receive 4 votes.

We also have business sponsorship opportunities available at $500 and $1,500. Our business partners help cover the cost of our annual awards luncheon, allowing 100% of our member's donations to go directly back to nonprofits in the community.
